What we do

Repiping Options Scoped to What Your Home Actually Needs

Some homes need every supply line replaced. Others need one failing run addressed before it takes the wall with it. We size the job to the system, not to the invoice.

Whole House Repipe

Every hot and cold supply line is replaced in copper or PEX, from the point water enters the building to the last fixture. This is the option for homes where galvanized steel or CPVC has reached the end of its service life.

Partial Repipe

Replacement of the runs that have failed while sound piping stays where it is. Common in homes where one bathroom, the kitchen wall, or a single hot water branch keeps giving trouble.

Slab Leak Reroute

When a supply line under the slab fails, we abandon that run and route a new line through walls or attic instead of breaking concrete. The floor stays intact and the new line stays accessible.

Say Goodbye to Leaks, Rust & Low Water Pressure

A whole house water line replacement means every hot and cold supply line comes out and a new system goes in, permitted and inspected as one job rather than patched a section at a time. Water line repiping ends the cycle of fixing one run while the rest of the system keeps aging at the same rate.

If only one section has failed, start with burst pipe and leak repair. If the trouble is underground between the meter and the house, that is the main water line replacement.

About Us

Your Local Repipe Team, Serving the South Bay

JetPipe Plumbing is locally owned and operated, working across Sunnyvale, San Jose, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, and the neighboring cities. We repipe postwar ranch homes, older condos, and houses that have already been remodeled twice. Water here runs hard, between 7 and 19 grains per gallon depending on the district, and that shortens the life of every supply system in the area. We plan the route before anyone opens a wall, protect the finishes, and close the wall behind us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I repipe in copper or PEX?

Both are approved for residential supply lines in California, and the choice usually comes down to the house. Copper stays serviceable for decades but needs soldered joints and more open walls. PEX runs flexibly through joists and around corners, which means fewer openings and a faster install, and it does not develop the pinhole corrosion that copper can show in hard water. We walk the layout during the estimate and tell you which one fits.

Most homes are finished in one to two days. A single-story ranch with accessible attic space moves faster than a two-story house with finished ceilings under the bathrooms. Drywall patching is included and happens after the pressure test passes.

Staying home is normal. Water is shut off during working hours and restored before the crew leaves for the day, so you have service overnight. Floors and furniture in the work zones are covered, and we keep a bathroom usable whenever the layout allows.

Three signs together: pressure that drops at the fixtures farthest from the heater, rust-colored water after the house has been quiet for several hours, and leaks appearing at a different joint each time. Galvanized steel corrodes inward, so the outside of the pipe looks intact right up to the point it fails. Cutting a short section during the estimate shows how much interior diameter is left.
